Pip Coe
Pip moved to the States when she was in kindergarten with her family, which was the start of her lifelong sense of adventure. Whether it’s hiking rugged trails, paddling white-water, or wandering to far-flung corners of the world she is always ready to explore what's next. She loves sharing her passion and connecting with people through all that the natural world has to offer.
Her entire career has revolved around the outdoor education and recreation industry, working in various roles as an instructor, guide and administrator. As an administrator she served on the NOLS executive team for more than eighteen years and is a current NOLS instructor. She's worked as an outdoor education instructor, raft guide and a canoe and kayak instructor throughout the Rocky Mountains, Alaska and the Southeast of the U.S. as well as in Europe, Asia and East Africa. Pip’s diverse experience has made her skilled in leading, organizing, and problem-solving in some of the world’s most dynamic environments. Her philosophy is simply: adapt, improvise, and overcome.
When she's not exploring the great outdoors or traveling, you can find her bringing creativity to life—whether creating at the sewing machine, doing a house renovation project, or tweaking a recipe to make the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
